Description

Combined Synopsis and Solicitation Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 22), 4811 Airport Plaza Drive, Suite 600, Long Beach, CA, 90815 as directed by VA San Diego Healthcare Systems (VAGLAHS) has a requirement for annual Grease Trap and Drainage Preventive Maintenance Services. The Government intends to fulfil this requirement with a base and four option year firm fixed price contract. This procurement is an open market small business total set aside under FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Contractor shall have the ability to provide all necessary labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision to perform grease trap and drainage preventive maintenance functions at VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS), 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA, 92161 and VA Aspire Center, 2121 San Diego Ave, San Diego, CA 92110. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend a Site Visit scheduled on September 4, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) at VAGLAHS, 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA. The interested parties will immediately proceed to VA Aspire Center, 2121 San Diego Ave, San Diego, CA 92110 after the VAGLAHS visit. The offerors are responsible for providing their own transportation from site to site. The site visit is anticipated to last 3 hours. The Contractor must RSVP at edgar.alvizar@va.gov no later than September 2, 3:00 p.m. PST. Offers to this combined synopsis and solicitation shall be e-mailed not later than 11:00 a.m. PST on September 11, 2014 to the attention of Edgar Alvizar at edgar.alvizar@va.gov with "Interested Contractor - Grease Drainage Preventive Services" on the subject line. Files should be sent in PDF format and no larger than 10MB or it may be rejected by the server. Vendor shall expect a confirmation e-mail indicating offer was successfully received by the Government. The Government is not responsible for rejected e-mails that exceed the e-mail capacity. Telephone responses shall NOT be accepted. Offerors shall submit their offers in accordance with the attached solicitation (see E.2 ADDENDUM to FAR 52.212-1 INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS - COMMERCIAL ITEMS and E.2 ADDENDUM to FAR 52.212-1 INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS - COMMERCIAL ITEMS).
