Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations, Technology Acquisition Center, located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey, intends to enter into a contract on a basis of other than full and open competition for Offsite Storage of Disaster Recovery Materials. The intended sole source award will be a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract with Safesite, Incorporated, 9505 Johnny Morris Road, Austin, Texas 78724, for safe and secure storage and transportation of VA Austin Information Technology Center's disaster recovery media tapes. The Period of Performance for this contract shall consist of a one-year base period and three, one-year option periods to be exercised at the Government's discretion. The Statutory Authority for this effort falls under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1 entitled, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 493190 size standard of $27.5M. The anticipated award date is October 1, 2014. This notification shall close on September 30, 2014.
