- Attachment to Notice containing the Government's Requirements This is a Small Business Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain statements regarding (1) the availability and capability of qualified small business sources to meet the stated requirements, and (2) to find out each source's size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition (i.e., small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, service disabled, veteran-owned small businesses, 8(a) small businesses, veteran-owned small businesses, woman owned small businesses, or small disadvantaged businesses). An organization that is not considered a small business under the applicable NAICS code must not submit a response to this notice. The Government is requesting that qualified small business concerns submit a statement of capabilities to meet the attached requirements. Respondents are asked to provide only the most pertinent information, data, and materials necessary to adequately convey a declaration of capability in line with this notice. On a cover page of the capabilities statement, please include: 1. Company Name 2. Address 3. DUNS code 4. Contractor Point of Contact 5. Small Business Classification (if applicable, denote HUBZone small businesses; service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses; 8(a) small businesses; veteran-owned small businesses; woman-owned small businesses; or small disadvantaged businesses). 6. # of Employees The remaining portion of the capabilities statement should address, in concise language supported by proposed capabilities, whether the respondent could successfully satisfy (1) Mandatory Criteria qualifications and the (2) Target Product Profile. Please note that the objective of this Small Business Sources Sought is to obtain the minimum amount of information necessary to demonstrate the respondent's capabilities as they relate the government's requirements. Capability statements shall not exceed 15 pages in length and must be submitted electronically, in PDF format, by the cut-off date to matthew.mccord@hhs.gov and kevin.nilles@hhs.gov with the title "Capability Statement for Universal Influenza Vaccine Sources Sought." The Government will use responses to this notice to determine the appropriate acquisition method. The results of the Government's analysis of capability statements will not be shared with respondents. Please monitor FedBizOpps for any resultant solicitation.
