Description

Synopsis: Network Contracting Office (NCO) 3 of the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source contract to ArjoHuntleigh, Inc., 2349 W. Lake St, Ste. 250 Addison, IL 60101-6188, under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253 (c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed procurement is for Palliative Care Lift Systems for the New Jersey Healthcare System located at 151 Knollcroft Rd, Lyons NJ 07939. Vendor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, tools, material, parts, repair services, maintenance, maintenance support and software upgrades. This agreement will be a firm fixed price contract for a one time purchase. The North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 423450 and the size standard is 100 Employees. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest by providing a capability statement not later than August 27, 2014 at Noon (EST). The capability statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
