- Attachment 1 - RFQ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76, effective July 25, 2014. NAICS code 336611 applies. This is a small business set-aside. The U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD), Norfolk, VA intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for the provision of services to inspect the Main Engines aboard the T/V KINGS POINTER located at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York. See Attached Request for Quotation. The requested Period of Performance is from 09/15/2014 to 09/30/2014.
