- The contractor shall furnish all labor, facilities, parts, materials, equipment, tools and data (other than Government Furnished Property), necessary to accomplish the overhaul of the following assets: NOMENCLATURE:Control Interface (ICU) and Interface Unit, Comm (LPCAP)(CH-47) INPUT NSN / PART NUMBER:5895-01-544-9823/599-3100-017 5895-01-545-0897/599-1200-003 OUTPUT NSN / PART NUMBER:5895-01-544-9823/599-3100-017 5895-01-545-0897/599-1200-003 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE:60 Minimum - 1,800 Maximum (300 FMS) - for output NSN 5895-01-544-9823.200 Minimum - 2,400 Maximum (400 FMS) - for output NSN 5895-01-545-0897. The proposed contractual action will be a Five (5) year, Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Maintenance and Overhaul Contract, with minimum / maximum quantities listed above. The maximum quantity of 1,800 each includes a quantity of 300 each for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) for output NSN 5895-01-544-9823.The maximum quantity of 2,400 each includes a quantity of 400 each for FMS for output NSN 5895-01-545- 0897. These items are non-commercial; FAR Part 12 will not be utilized. Required delivery shall be FOB Origin. This procurement is restricted to Telephonics Corporation (CAGE 78711), 815 Broad Hollow Road, Farmingdale, NY 11735-3904. There is no adequate Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) for this overhaul; therefore this requirement cannot support a competitive solicitation. The overhaul shall be accomplished in accordance with contractor overhaul specifications and drawings. These items are not identified as a Critical Safety Items. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR).All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency.No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Requests for the solicitation shall be by mail. You may mail your request to Joseph R. Thomas, CCAM-ALM, Bldg 5303, 2nd Floor, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5000.Proposals can be hand-carried, mailed via the US Postal Service, or delivered by a commercial delivery service. No FAX or email responses shall be accepted for the initial proposal. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimate date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
