- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky, intends to enter into a sole-source procurement with Kentucky American Water, Lexington, Kentucky. This requirement is for the provision of Water Supply Service. This proposed award is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. It is our determination that this requirement can only be met by Kentucky American Water. The NAICS code is 221310, Water Supply and Irrigation Systems, $7.0. This notice is not a notice for solicitation of offers as no solicitation document is available. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Any firm who believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed and must show competition would be advantageous to the Government.
