The Federal Aviation Administration, Northwest Mountain Region, Western Service Area, is conducting a Market Survey/Request for Information to improve the Government's understanding of the current marketplace. This survey is being conducted in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1. This survey will support market research obtained from multiple sources and will be utilized for planning purposes only. The purpose of this Market Survey is to seek competent and qualified vendors for the supply of antenna tower rigid rail fall protection systems The following is the summary of work. The NAICS Code for this is: 332323 Ornamental and Architectural Metal Work Manufacturing The system covered under this specification must meet the following requirements: -Rail must be lightweight to fit very tall and narrow antenna towers. Some towers are held by guy wires. -Slider must be friction type which keeps the climber close to the ladder during decents. -Rail must be flexible enough to be installed on ladders with vertical changes in direction -Rail must resist corrosion and warping over time. -Rail must be compatible with existing FAA inventories to prevent purchasing different sliders (very expensive) and change in training program for the climbers. -System must be 100% compatible with currently installed Turris Corp RAM Rail Systems. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
