- Attachment B - Statement of Line Attachment A - Bid Schedule DLA Disposition Services has a requirement for office furniture. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) # SP4510-14-Q-1016. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76. This RFQ is totally set aside for small businesses. The NAICS code is 337214 with a size standard of 500 employees. CLIN Descriptions: CLIN 0001: DLA Disposition Services Eglin office furniture, Reference Attachments A & B, QTY: 01 LT. This is a brand name or equal purchase description. Potential vendors may propose a product in lieu of the brand named item, whereas the replacement product meets or exceeds the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics of the brand name item specifically mentioned. Potential vendors who propose products other than those specifically referenced by brand name shall provide adequate documentation to verify technical equivalency. Insufficient documentation for a technical evaluation regarding proposed products equivalency to the product referenced by brand name shall result in a technically unacceptable rating and removal from consideration. A site visit would be beneficial in order to obtain more information. Drawings, dimensions and/or lists of furniture requiring removal are unavailable. All potential offerors are highly encouraged to schedule an appointment to visit the facility to determine work conditions and measurements prior to submitting a quote. Any potential offeror electing to visit the facility shall schedule an appointment with David Morgan or Marie Wilbanks, (850) 882-8075. Background investigations are required prior to installation access. The Government is not liable for any proposal development costs or site visit costs incurred. Organized site visits are scheduled for Wednesday, September 3, 2014 and Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 00:00 AM EST and 2:00 PM EST. An appointment is necessary to attend either of the scheduled site visits and must be scheduled by Friday, August 29, 2014 at 4:30 PM EST. Questions regarding this RFQ should be submitted in writing to the notice's primary POC at david.stemple@dla.mil. Questions regarding this RFQ are due by Friday, September 5, 2014 at 4:30 PM EST. Questions submitted after this deadline will not be answered. Answers will be posted to this notice on September 8, 2014. Quotes are due by the response deadline of Friday, September 12, 2014 at 4:30 PM EST. Late quotes shall not be accepted and shall not receive consideration for award.
