Description

This is a PRESOLICITATION NOTICE only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 16 (NCO 16), Biloxi, MS has a requirement for provision of TLD Film Badges for Diagnostic Imaging at the Biloxi, Mississippi VA Medical Center and the surrounding vicinity. The Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System is seeking, preferably small, businesses capable of providing the TLD Film Bade Services. Simplified acquisition procedures will be used and the resulting contract will be firm fixed price. The base period of performance will be from October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015, with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. A Statement of Work will be included in the solicitation, which will be posted on or about August 25, 2014. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 334519 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. All interested parties are reminded to be registered with System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ in order to be eligible for award of Government contracts. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation package for the requirement shall be posted on or about August 25, 2014. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government.
