- This is a Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified sources; (2) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. The NAICS code is 339113 and the Size Standard is 500 employees. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a small business set-aside is possible. Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) is seeking qualified sources to provide a Laparoscopy and Endoscopy Tower for Military Working Dogs (MWDs) - Type of Contract - The Government intends to award a Firm, Fixed-Price contract for a Laparoscopy and Endoscopy tower, specifically engineered for use on animals, to the successful offeror. Contract Requirements - The successful offeror(s) will be required to provide this equipment within the following constraints: 1. Contractor must be able to deliver to OCONUS destination. 2. Laparoscopy and Endoscopy functions must be available in a singular unit. All qualified sources are invited to submit capability statements that substantiate their experience and qualifications in providing the equipment within three (3) business days from the date of this notice. Interested firms shall indicate if they have provided similar supplies to military medical treatment facilities and/or the general public under terms and conditions similar to those stated in this notice. Responses to this notice should include company name, address, and telephone number, point of contact (POC), and brochures which will allow the Government to understand your equipment offerings and options. Capability statements should be submitted to the attention of Ms. Sandy Mitsuda, Contract Specialist, Pacific Regional Contracting Office, 160 Krukowski Road, Tripler, HI 96859; email sandy.h.mitsuda.civ@mail.mil. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 29 August 2014 at 12:00 PM Hawaiian Standard Time.
