- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please read this RFQ thoroughly and address all and provide all requested information and documentation. Please do not take ANY exceptions to the RFQ. If you do not provide the information and documentation as requested in this RFQ and/or if you take any exceptions to the RFQ, your quote will be considered non-responsive and may NOT be considered. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations for the below items that are required to meet the ATTACHED Government Minimum Specification. ITEM NO. 1 1-1/2" Inner Diameter X 12'-11" long, High Pressure Range, Convoluted Metal Flexible Hose Assemblies, Female Tube End and Male Tube End, Tolerance on hoses shall be +/-1 PERCENT (%) of overall length of hose nominal length. Items required to meet Government Minimum Specification in this RFQ. Quantity /Unit: 2 each; ITEM NO. 2: 1-1/2" Inner Diameter X 6'-1" long, High Pressure Range, Convoluted Metal Flexible Hose Assemblies, Female Tube End and Male Tube End, Tolerance on hoses shall be +/-1 % of overall length of hose nominal length. Items required to meet the attached Government Minimum Specification. Quantity /Unit: 3 each; ITEM NO. 3: 1" Inner Diameter X 5'-5" long, High Pressure Range, Convoluted Metal Flexible Hose Assemblies, Female Tube End and Male Tube End, Tolerance on hoses shall be +/-1 % of overall length of hose nominal length. Items required to meet the attached Government Minimum Specification. Quantity/Unit: 2 each; ITEM NO. 4: 1" Inner Diameter X 5'-0" long, Convoluted Metal Flexible Hose Assemblies, Female Tube End and Male Tube End, Tolerance on hoses shall be +/-1 % of overall length of hose nominal length. Items required to meet the attached Government Minimum Specification. Quantity /Unit: 2 each; ITEM NO. 5: 1/2" Inner Diameter X 3'-5" long, Convoluted Metal Flexible Hose Assemblies, Female Tube End and Male Tube End, Tolerance on hoses shall be +/-1/4 INCH (") of overall length of hose nominal length. Items required to meet the attached Government Minimum Specification. Quantity /Unit: 2 each; ITEM NO. 6: 1-1/2" Inner Diameter X 12'-11" long, High Pressure Range, Convoluted Metal Flexible Hose Assemblies, Female Tube End and Female Tube End, Tolerance on hoses shall be +/-1% of overall length of hose nominal length. Items required to meet the attached Government Minimum Specification. Quantity /Unit: 2 each; ITEM NO. 7: 1/2" Inner Diameter X 3'-5" long, Convoluted Metal Flexible Hose Assemblies, Female Tube End and Female Tube End, Tolerance on hoses shall be +/-1/4 of overall length of hose nominal length. Items required to meet the attached Government Minimum Specification. Quantity /Unit: 4 each; ITEM NO. 8: 1/4" Inner Diameter X 3'-6" long, Convoluted Metal Flexible Hose Assemblies, Female Tube End and Female Tube End, Tolerance on hoses shall be +/-1/4 of overall length of hose nominal length. Items required to meet the attached Government Minimum Specification. Quantity/Unit: 2 each; ITEM NO. 9: Shipping Cost FOB Destination to NASA, Kennedy Space Center, Florida 32899 Quantity/Unit: 1 lot. SPECIAL FAR CLAUSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS AS REQUIRED ITEM NOS 1 THRU 8: FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds is applicable. FAR 52.246-15 Certificate of Conformance NASA Quality Code Q2 is applicable to Item No.s 1 thru 8. Contractor shall submit FAR Certificate of Conformance with delivery of all items. Delivery to NASA, Kennedy Space Center, 32899 is required within 12 weeks ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION AND CONFIRMATIONS (Offerors shall provide docs and make confirmations, as required, in offer.) Contractor shall provide detailed copies of Warranties for all offered items with quote. Contractor shall confirm all offered items meet all required Government Minimum Specifications. Contractor shall confirm they will provide all required Documentation with delivery of items as per Government Minimum Specifications. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 332999 and 750 number of employees respectively. The Offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. The FAR may be obtained via the Internet at URL: http://www.acquisition.gov/far/index.htm l The NFS may be obtained via the Internet at URL: http://www.hq.nasa.gov/o ffice/procurement/regs/nfstoc.htm The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 2005- 76 and can be obtained from http://nais.nasa.gov/far/ Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 - Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, which is incorporated by reference. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the Offeror shall so state and shall list the country of origin. Offerors must include completed copies of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their offer. FAR 52.212-4 - Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is applicable. FAR 52.212-5 - Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items is applicable and the following identified clauses are incorporated by reference: 52.203-6, 52.204-10, 52.209-6, 52.209-10, 52.219-6, 52.219-8, 52.219-14, 52.219-28, 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222-40, 52.222-54, 52.223-18, 52.225-13, and 52,232-33.
