Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation number for this requirement is W912J2-14-Q-1001. The 115th Fighter Wing, Madison, WI is soliciting quotes for a mass notification broadcast in real time information to people in buildings, areas, sites, using intelligible voice communications. 1 ea, to be delivered to the Wisconsin Air National Guard, Truax Field, 3110 Mitchell Street, Madison, WI 53704. See below for specific specifications. The anticipated award will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract; the award will be made based on the lowest price offer meeting all requirements listed and considered technically acceptable by the end user. The Government intends to select one contractor for award; however, the Government reserves the right to award no contract at all, depending on the quality of the proposals/quotes and prices submitted and the availability of funds. This requirement is a 100% Small Business set-aside acquisition. The NAICS code is 238990 and the size standard is $14 million. The contractor shall provide the following item: Purpose is to protect life by indicating an emergency situation and instructing people of necessary and appropriate. Contract line item numbers and quantities: Install Giant Voice, Quantity 1 Lump Sum.. (All requirement descriptions below state desired functionality. The contractor will be responsible to determine what additional components, hardware, etc. will be necessary to deliver a fully functional system.) Must meet the following physical and/or functional characteristics: 1. Procure and install a wireless outdoor siren array system meeting the requirements listed below: Three (3) central control stations (command post, EOC and BDOC), User interface controls. Total, zone, single voice activation, Voice, music and siren activations. Ability to for pre-recorded messages, Digital voice module system, (16 pre-recorded messages, 60 min. play time), Ability to accept auxiliary input from digital recorder/CP/MP3 player, Battery backup power, Install two (2) 55ft. wood class II poles for base coverage area, 119dBc rated siren system, JF12 military encoding two-way VHF radio interface, and Transmission encryption.
