Description

The John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, 4646 John R, Detroit, MI. 48201 intends to solicit from only one source, ASP, a division of Ethicon Incorporated, to establish a preventative maintenance contract with a base year and up to four (4) one-year option periods for two Sterrad sterilizers. The basis for this proposed sole source procurement is that the original equipment manufacturer is the only source of proprietary information necessary for the successful completion of the preventative maintenance required to keep these machines operational. Comments regarding this proposed procurement may be directed to Contracting Officer Gregory Stevens at gregory.stevens@va.gov no later than September 3, 2014 at 4 pm EDT.
