Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Acquisition Operations, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown NJ intends to enter into a contract on a basis of other than full and open competition for the renewal of brand name Software AG software maintenance support. The TAC intends to award a sole source, 12-month firm-fixed price (FFP) contract with one 12-month option period to Software AG Government Solutions Inc. (Software AG), 11700 Plaza America Drive, Suite 230 Reston, Virginia 20190 for Software AG software maintenance support as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 entitled, "Only Once Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." The proposed solicitation number for this effort is VA118-14-Q-0569. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 511210 with a corresponding small business size standard of $35.5 million. The estimated date of award for this action is October 1, 2014. This notification shall close on September 2, 2014. This is a notification of intent, not a request for proposals.
