- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Purchasing Agency: Army Contracting Command - Rock Island This Request for Quote (RFQ), W52P1J-14-T-0032, is issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures IAW FAR Part 13. Required is a pallet storage rack system, including all associated parts for the Military Surface Deployment & Distribution Command (SDDC), G6 IT warehouse located at building 512. The NAICS code for this requirement is 493110, General Warehousing and Storage. This RFQ is for the procurement of the following products: 1. 8' uprights (~depth 3.5-4'; ~ 10K Capacity) Qty: 26 2. 8' load-bearing beams (~ 5K Capacity) Qty: 56 3. 4' load-bearing beams (~ 3K Capacity) Qty: 4 4. Wire Rack Decks w/ Lateral Supports Qty: 58 5. Concrete Anchor Bolts Qty: 52 Responsible offerors shall provide unit pricing for all items listed. All prices are to be firm fixed. Offerors shall provide at least the same warranty terms, including offers of extended warranties, offered to the general public in customary commercial practice. Delivery of equipment shall be FOB Destination to the following address: Surface Deployment & Distribution Command 1 Soldier Way Bldg 512 Scott AFB, IL 62225-5006 DODAAC: W81GYE ATTN: Mr. James Osborne * Racks will need to be delivered directly to building 512. Building does not have a loading dock so delivery in a truck with a lift gate is recommended. As the building is not manned, contact will need to be made on the day of delivery when the truck arrives at the gate. Details will be provided at the time of award. All deliveries shall be made in accordance with FAR 52.247-34 FOB Destination. The place of delivery, acceptance and FOB destination point is Scott Air Force Base, IL. Items are to be delivered 30 days after award of this combined synopsis/solicitation. Earlier delivery is acceptable, at no additional cost to the Government, and is desired. All Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for an award with the US Government. Application to this site can be found under the following link: www.sam.gov. Failure to comply with SAM registration may deem an offeror ineligible for award. The Government will issue a Purchase Order to the responsible offeror with the lowest overall price.
