- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number AG-32SC-S-14-R701286 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-76. This solicitation will be a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 333111 (Farm Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing), with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This acquisition is for the following item as identified in the Contract Line Item Number (CLIN): 001) Wagon style helix reel feed mixer, Qty: 1 each Specifications for Feed Mixer: Feed mixer must meet these minimum requirements; 1. Wagon style helix reel mixer 2. Capacity of 500 cu. Ft. 3. Overall height between 100 and 110 inches 4. Overall width between 90 and 105 inches 5. Have 4 auger discharge 6. Include a roughage auger with roughage knives maxx 7. Include ez 3400v indicator with scales 8. New 425/65R x 22.5 tires 9. HD 540 drive for helix reel 10. Clevis hitch 11. Light kit 12. Location of the Government site is Beltsville Agriculture Research Center, Dairy Unit in Beltsville, Maryland. The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract. Quoters responding to this announcement shall submit their quote in accordance with FAR 52.212-1. Submission of quote shall include the following: (1) Technical Specifications and (2) Price (to include Trade-In). The basis for award is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). "LPTA" means the expected outcome of the acquisition that, results from selection of the technically acceptable proposal with the lowest evaluated price. Pursuant to FAR 52.212-2, the criteria for evaluation are: (1) Technical Specifications, (2) Price (to include shipping) and must also have satisfactory Past Performance.
