- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis under NAICS code 327211 and small business size standard is 1000 employees. Purchase and delivery of the following items no later than 60 Days ADC FOB Destination: Line Item 0001: Transparent Ballistic Protection Barrier NIJ III - 10 EA Details to Include: NIJ III.308 (7.62x51mm) rifle, FMJ Transparent armor has been tested with NIJ Standard 0108.01 Level III. It also provides protection against lesser threats such as 5.56mm FMJ, 7.62x39mm FMJ, and most handguns. Interlocking Frames Protection Barrier Panel Dimensions 32 x 65 Protection Barrier Weight 241 lbs (16.7 lbs/ft2) Protection Barrier Base Footprint 33 1/2 quote mark x 24 quote mark The frame is constructed of aluminum with a steel base. Care should be taken when moving the barrier, as the total weight is approximately 310 pounds.
