Description
17.The National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIH/NIAID) has a request for a High performance digital camera (Qty of 2) from PCO-Tech Inc 6930 Metroplex Drive Romulus MI 48174. The proposed brand is the PCO.Edge 4.2 Rolling Shutter sCMOS, Part# pco.edge4.2.air. This is a brand name or equal solicitation in accordance with FAR 52.211-6. The PCO.Edge consists of the following accessories: 1.Thermoelectrically cooled camera head with sCMOS sensor for Rolling Shutter including both F and C mount optical input adapters 2.Full 10-Tap Camera Link PCI-express card with camera link cables 3.Camware application software 4.Power Supply and cables This camera has the following required salient characteristics: 1.2048 x 2048 Resolution with a rolling shutter 2.Read Noise of <0.9e-med (<1.4E- rms) at 35fps (Slow Scan) and <1.0e- med (<1.5erms) 3.PCO Camera to provide 16bit data depth, which will allow larger dynamic range for a light sheet microscope 4.USB 3.0 connection 5.Light in weight in order to be mounted on top of a microscope All responsible sources with the capability to provide a digital camera with the same or similar characteristics may submit a proposal that will be considered. The Government reserves the right to make a decision whether this requirement is available for competition. All responses shall be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. (EDST) September 8, 2014.
