The Propulsion Subsystem consists of the Propulsion System Rocket Engine (PSRE) and Propulsion Unit Subassembly (booster) that is comprised of three solid rocket motors, two interstages, an aft skirt, and a raceway system and cover system, plus all the control equipment for the nozzles and safing devices; it also includes weapon system ordnance devices and flight batteries. The Government contemplates award of one (1) Contract resulting from this solicitation. This effort will be a 5 year contract with a basic period of performance, 4 option periods and a 6-month option to extend services. The contract is expected to be awarded in Sep 2015. This RFP is not restricted. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be mailed. Interested offerors are responsible for checking FBO to obtain the solicitation and any amendments or other information pertaining to the solicitation and are encouraged to register for notification through FBO. All offerors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) to be eligible for award. In addition, offerors must ensure their Annual Representations and Certifications are updated and current.
