- The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) has a requirement for the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Disease (USAMRIID) for brand name or equal IncuCyte Zoom software. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-27. This requirement is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516 with a size standard of 500 people. This code shall be listed in System for Award Management (SAM.gov) prior to award. The following are the Minimum Essential Characteristics for the requirement: IncuCyte ZOOM (Kinetic Imaging System): Line Item 1: IncuCyte ZOOM HD System Catalog# 4472; Quantity is 1 Must operate from within an existing, standard tissue culture incubator. Must be capable of capturing images without interacting with or removing cells from the incubator. Must possess automated hands-free operation for periods exceeding 14 days and must be capable of automatically generating kinetic growth curves for cells. Must have both high definition phase contrast optics and dual wavelength fluorescence optics optimized for both GFP and RFP (mCherry and mKate). Must have high definition optics capable of imaging standard plastic 96 and 384 well tissue culture plates without any sidewall or meniscus effects. Must have 4x, 10x and 20x swappable objectives. Must be able to simultaneously monitor 6 culture plates of mixed quote mark SBS Recommended Microplate Specification quote mark format. Must offer software with unlimited license usage at no extra cost. Must include microscope with auto-locate and auto-focus for all positions imaged. Must be compatible with standard tissue culture vessels is essential. Systems which require the use of a custom tissue culture vessel will not be acceptable. Must be compatible with the following vessels and the software must contain imaging templates for: 384 well microplates, 96 well microplates, 48 well plates, 24 well plates, 12 well plates, 6 well plates, 92.6 sq. cm. Roboflask, 500 sq.cm. Tripleflask, 84 sq.cm. Autoflask, 225 sq.cm. flasks, 185 sq.cm. flasks, 182 sq.cm. flasks, 175 sq.cm. flasks, 162 sq.cm. flasks, 150 sq.cm. flasks, 75 sq.cm. flasks, 25 sq.cm. flasks, 35mm dishes, 60 mm dishes, 100mm dishes, 150mm dishes and multiple formats of cell culture microslides. Line Item 2: IncuCyte ZOOM Archive DR 3TB Catalog# 9500-4523-00A; Quantity is 1 Must be a 3 TB capacity SATAIII archive drive. Must be tested and optimized to be specifically compatible with the IncuCyte ZOOM. Must have interfaces via eSATA or USB 3.0 (USB 2.0 compatible). Must be both hot-swappable and plug and play. Must have the following diimensions: 141.2mm X 31.2mm X 191mm (h X w X d). Weight 2.5 lbs. Line Item 3: IncuCyte ZOOM HD Bundled Catalog# 4497; Quantity is 1 quote mark Full description is of Catalog item is: 4497 - IncuCyte ZOOM HD Bundled Software and Service Warranty: Purchased when instrument is purchased, Onsite service, Includes all Parts and Labor, Annual Preventative Maintenance Upon Request, 1 year coverage, Includes all base software upgrades. Must be provided by Essen Bioscience trained service engineer. Must include all base software and firmware upgrades to the IncuCyte ZOOM developed and provided by Essen Bioscience. Must provide phone line support 9-5 pm EST. Must provide on-site service. Must include all parts and labor. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. The competitive solicitation, solicitation amendments and all questions and answers relating to this procurement shall be made available via the Internet at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ or https://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about August 27, 2014, and will only be available until September 8, 2014. Specifications of the requirement are provided in solicitation: W81XWH-14-T-0454. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. To be eligible for an award, offerors SHALL be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) and have completed its representations and certification completed via SAM. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via www.SAM.gov. All questions should be addressed in writing to Jennifer Hayden, Contract Specialist at jennifer.e.hayden.civ@mail.mil. Only one set of questions shall be received from each offeror. Numerous emails from one offeror shall not be accepted. Bidder lists will not be maintained. All interested parties shall provide their quote to Jennifer Hayden at jennifer.e.hayden.civ@mail.mil by 12:00 p.m. ET on September 8, 2014 in order to be considered for this solicitation.
