- AMENDMENT NOTICE:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is 0010539544 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-76. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334310 with a small business size standard of 750.00 employees.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2014-09-03 11:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be FT LEE, VA 23801 The MICC Fort Lee requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001: Remove 3-80? Sharp TV/Monitors and associated cables and connections, (set aside for reuse later in the project) from front wall of the James Madison Room Conference room located in Building 5020 Room 1068, first floor. Prepare wall to accept new video wall components to include closing in existing opening including necessary metal studs, drywall, finishing, and paint to match existing color. Install new Video wall and necessary mounting brackets, wiring and components required to make fully functional., 1, EA; LI 002: Relocate removed 80? Sharp TV/monitors and existing wall mounts to the following locations. 2 of the 80?s will be relocated to room 4077, Command Conference room, to replace 2 existing 60? monitors. AMX programming will be required in room 4077 to ensure the new Sharp 80?s will function correctly with the current AMX configuration. The 3rd 80? TV/monitor will be installed in the Commanding Generals Office to replace a 46? currently in his office. Reconnect current cables and test for full function, (no AMX controller present in the CG?s office)., 1, EA; LI 003: Relocate existing wall mounted recessed speakers to make room for new Video wall, patch, and finish and paint sheetrock to match existing color., 1, EA; LI 004: Install new Tandberg/Cisco HD VTC camera and associated components in their current locations if possible. If not possible, surface mount camera in the best location of camera angle towards the head table., 1, EA; LI 005: Install one Clear One Beam Forming Mic in rear portion of JMR (ceiling mounted) above the audience seating area and associated cabling. This will be utilized for audio pick up of VTC?s and Teleconference meetings for the distant end to better hear questions coming from the audience, not for sound reinforcement within the room., 1, EA; LI 006: Remove old 9? AMX controller and reinstall new 19.4? AMX Modero X panoramic touch screen controller and associated cabling. Provide and install one wireless 9? AMX touch panel to work in conjunction with newly installed system., 1, EA; LI 007: Provide all necessary upgrades to AMX controllers and programming required to make functional all newly installed and existing components within the James Madison Room. Programming requirements will be provided by the government by Christopher Borland, to marry up with current and future requirement usage of the conference room., 1, EA; LI 008: Provide one custom built conference table to match existing custom podium by Miller Millworks. Remove and reinstall current laptop connection ports from old table to the new one. Install all cabling for current microphones within cable management system of new table and secure. Test all microphones for functionality. Provide one additional SHURE push to talk microphone, table top version, to match existing microphones (part number SHURE MX412D/C)., 1, EA; LI 009: Contract manpower Report The contractor shall report ALL contractor labor hours (including subcontractor labor hours) required for performance of services provided under this contract for the CASCOM G6 via a secure data collection site., 1, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, MICC Fort Lee intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. MICC Fort Lee is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. See responses to each question. 1. On the AMX Enova DGX in your rack, we need to know what cards are populating the chassis? How many existing AMX transmitters and receivers are presently being used? 6 cards 2 X 4 HDCP Twisted pair Input board 2 X 4 HDCP DVI Input board 1 X 4 HDCP Twisted pair Output board 1 X 4 HDCP DVI Output board 2. We also see in the Scope you are asking for 1 Beam array microphone, but in the parts list you call out 2? Parts list is wrong. Should just be one for back of room. 3. DO you have the AMX source code? Yes. we asked the technician who was servicing another room whether or not the source code was stored on the AMX and he said yes. 4. DO you have the CLearone Source code? We will need to add the microphone in the code. Unknown. Unless it is stored on the device like the AMXs; we do not have any software backups in our possession. 5. DO you have a previous system drawing on the AV system? This would be nice to provide so there aren't any oops on anyone's part. No. no drawings exist which is why we are asking for them in the PWS.
