Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Salem, Virginia will be soliciting request for quotes for an automated Immunohistochemical slide staining cost per slide solution for the Salem VAMC. Contractor will be responsible for providing an instrument, all stains/reagents and materials to the station. A request for quote for (VA246-14-Q-1020) will be issued on or about August 27, 2014 The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is October1, 2014 (or date of award) through September 30, 2015, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. The applicable NAICS Code is 325413 with a size standard of 500 emplyees. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at http://www.sam.gov and Online Representations and Certifications Applicable (ORCA) at https://www.sam.gov.
