This Sources Sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. The information from this market research is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. This Sources Sought Synopsis is issued for maximizing competition. Should anything in the requirement be constructed as limiting competition, please feel free to contact the MICC Special Competition Advocate (SCA) at dean.m.carsello.civ@mail.mil. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 541618. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of qualified business sources technically capable of providing the below: Equipping participants with the leadership and business skills required to more effectively contribute and lead their areas of responsibility and strengthening leadership competencies to inflect individual department performance and staff engagement Providing common leadership vocabulary and frameworks to bring functional silos and allow leaders to more effectively address organizational performance challenges while hard writing classroom learning by supporting real-life application of lessons Develop a cohort of clinical nurses to improve business skills and relationship skills to complement their excellent clinical skills. In particular, the need to support team building, peer to peer coaching and managing difficult conversations This requirement is to provide the above items for Eisenhower Army Medical Center (EAMC) Nursing Staff with the most up -to-date innovative training from 15 September 2014 to 14 September 2015. Delivery location: Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Attn: Department of Pharmacy, Fort Gordon, Georgia 30905. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of qualified commercial sources technical capable of providing the below salient characteristics of a leader development course for Army Nursing Staff and other facilities: Continuity of training Providing nursing leadership and quality nursing care, both in peacetime and during contingency operations, with in a professional military system and in support of the mission of the Army Medical Department which maintains the facility existence in providing quality patience care on an IN/OUT patient basis Potential offerors having the skills, experience, professional qualifications, and capabilities necessary to perform the described requirement are invited to provide a capabilities statement via e-mail. The Capability statements shall not exceed five (5) pages and must include the following: 1) Company name and Point of Contact information (address, telephone, e-mail, web-site, etc.); 2) DUNS number and CAGE code; 3) Small Business Size/Certification (to include 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc.); and 4) Familiarity and knowledge of the requirement and 5) Advise if you can or cannot provide on a GSA Schedule. Responses are due no later than 1000hrs EST, Wednesday, 28 August 2014, and shall be electronically submitted to denise.l.richardson4.mil@mail.mil. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.
