- Multiple Tools THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code: 332216 (Saw Blade and Hand Tool Manufacturing) SBA Size Standard: 500 employees Requirement Information: Multiple Tools This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is in support of MARKET RESEARCH being conducted by the United States Air Force (USAF). The Government intends to issue a solicitation in the future; however, the Government does not guarantee that a solicitation for any of all of these items will be issued. This market research is being conducted to increase competition for this requirement by identifying potential sources and to gauge small business interest to determine whether or not this requirement can be satisfied with a Small Business Set-Aside. The Government will use the information gathered through publication of this SSS to determine the best acquisition strategy for this requirement. The Government is interested in all potential sources including Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, 8(a) businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, HUBZone Small Businesses, Women-Owned Small Businesses, etc. The Government is looking for potential sources that are able to provided all the items listed at the attachment. The Government will accept equal items to the brand names listed in the attachment. If potential sources cannot provide all the items, the Government may consider an acquisition strategy that would result in multiple or partial awards. Estimated Solicitation Information Estimated Solicitation Date: Sept 2014 Estimated Solicitation Closing/Response Date: Sep 2014 PR: F1C0RH4226A001 Potential sources should provide information regarding their ability to provide all or some of the items listed in the attachment.
