- The United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region 9, 75 Hawthorne Street, San Francisco, CA 94105 intends to award a Sole Source purchase order under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, Other Than Full and Open Competition procedures and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Zasio Enterprises, Inc. This requirement includes services required for annual maintenance and support for the Versatile Enterprise records management system developed by Zasio Enterprises, Inc. and originally purchased by Region 9, EPA and currently required for continued optimal use of the Zasio records management system. The period of performance will be comprised of a five (5) year contract for the required annual maintenance and support of Versatile Enterprise system. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE AND NO SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED. EPA believes Zasio Enterprises, Inc. is the only source able to provide the services above to U.S. EPA, Region 9. All interested parties who believe they can provide the required services should fully explain their capabilities and qualifications in writing within 15 days from the date of this announcement. The documentation provided must include sufficient detail to make a determination that competition is feasible. The intent of this notice is to determine if any other source(s) exist, and therefore, no solicitation is available. Consequently, anyone failing to provide the aforementioned and instead submits only a routine or standard letter requesting a copy of the statement of work, or provides only basic corporate information will not be considered. The information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
