- SPECIAL NOTICE SLMREQ9590 The USDA National Animal Disease Center in Ames, IA, intends to award a procurement of the following items to Primus Sterilizer Company. Item # 200796 (2) Control Assembly, Kit Double Door, V2.0 Controller (Cybertech Printer); Item # 200537 (4) Touchpad Assy, Vert. Frame & Board (2" Large Frame); Item # 200652 (2) Cable Assembly, Touchpad, VERT, 9' Double Door; Item # 200654 (2) Cable Assembly, Touchpad, VERT, 15' Double Door; Item # 200723 (2) Printer, Thermal, 24/32 column Tak-up Reel (Cybertech); Item #200710 (2) Cable Assembly, Printer, T.U. 9' (Cybertech; Take-up (1' Frame)). This equipment controls procurement will be conducted in accordance with the procedures in FAR Part 13.106 and 6.303-2. The purchase determination is based on the need for autoclave controls compatible with multiple autoclave manufacturers. No alternative source for these controls has been located. The cost has been determined fair and reasonable based on current technical knowledge of fair market value. The anticipated purchase order value is $33,594.94. This is not a request for quotation. However, all interested parties may contact the Contract Specialist listed below. Sources interested in responding to this requirement must be able to provide compelling evidence that they can obtain/provide the required equipment controls. Responses must be submitted electronically, via email, sara.l.matchie@aphis.usda.gov. The deadline for the submittal of responses is 11:00 am central time, September 5, 2014.
