- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Fort Hood, TX intends to award a sole source purchase order to Harris RF Communications for AN/PRC-117G Harris radios and related Vehicular Amplifier Adapters (Proprietary) in support of Fort Hood, Texas. This acquisition is conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1(c)(1). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 750 employees.
