- Purpose of Amendment 0001 is to change and extend the closing date from Septermber 05, 2014 at 10:00AM Mountain Standard Time to Septemer 19, 2014 at 10:00AM Mountain Standard Time. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The Ogden Air Logistics Complex is conducting market research to determine if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 325510 - (500 employee size standard) Paint and Coating Manufacturing. The 309th Aircraft Maintenance Group requires the procurement of various PRC Desoto sealant products or equivalent, including Polysulfide and Polythioether, packaged in SEMCO Semkits, premixed - frozen (PMF), and sprayable sealants. These products conform to Military Specifications, and their use is directed by various Technical Orders in support of the F-16, C-130 and A-10 aircraft workload accomplished in the Aircraft Maintenance Group, Hill AFB, Utah. These aircraft sealants are to be supplied to the Aircraft Maintenance Group by a single local supplier, who is an authorized agent for PRC Desoto and other sealant manufactures. The supplier must also provide technical assistance as described in this purchase description (See Other Attachment). This is in support of the 309 Maintenance Support Group located at Hill AFB, UT. The information in this notice is based on the best and most current information available to date. This information is subject to change and is not binding to the Government. Updated information will be provided in future announcements and posted electronically on the Federal Business opportunities homepage at www.fbo.gov. The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this request for information. The Ogden Air Logistics Complex Contracting Directorate (AFMC), Hill Air Force Base (AFB), Utah, intends to issue a formal RFP in October 2014 timeframe for the acquisition of services required for this effort at Hill AFB, UT. This will be a 5 year IDIQ contract and is estimated to begin March 2015. The successful contractor shall be required to interact with USAF depot level repair shops, supply system, item managers and equipment specialist to get necessary information to assure repairs, supply exchanges and latest maintenance is accomplished. A draft Purchase Description is attached. The Government requests interested parties to submit a brief statement of current capability to perform these services and a letter of interest. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all large or small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hub-zone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. Interested and qualified sources should provide the following information: (1) company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type of business and size; (2) a list of your most recent and relevant DoD or commercial contracts (not to exceed five) to include brief description, names, POCs, phone numbers, value & type of contract, and period of performance; and (3) information about your company and why you think you can perform this service. (4) Include in your submission responses to the questionnaire. Please limit your submissions to ten pages.
