- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT - 28 August 2014 - The US Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to negotiate solely as prescribed in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, with K&R Custom Software, INC., 453 McLaws Circle Suite 2, Williamsburg, VA 23185. The contractor shall provide warranty and maintenance support services for the current Telephone Management System (TMS). The parts and processes associated with maintaining the instruments are proprietary to the manufacturer. The following services are in support of the Signal Center, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. CLIN 0001: Equipment Calibration and Repair The Contractor shall provide warranty/maintenance support services for the current TMS in use at APG, as outlined in Attachment A of the Statement of Work, to include corrective/demand/preventive maintenance; labor; parts or replacement; logistics; troubleshooting; upgrades, enhanced maintenance and assurance. This shall include technical assistance for remote and on-site (as needed) diagnostics and troubleshooting; application updates and enhanced support as requested. CLIN 0002: Accounting for Contract Services Cost for Providing Accounting for Contract Services - ACC-APG 5152.237-4900, Accounting for Contract Services Requirement, has been added to the statement of work, and the contractor is required to provide data on contractor manpower (including subcontractor manpower) for performance of this contract. The cost, if any, for providing this data shall be entered into the space provided at this CLIN. If no direct cost is associated with providing the data, enter quote mark No Cost quote mark. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price, sole source contract to K&R Custom Software, INC., for one twelve (12) month period. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541511 and the size standard is $27.5 million. All responses received within ten (10) days after the publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
