- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Advanced Occupational Education Programs (Entrepreneurship Instruction) for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution, Elkton, OH. The responsible quoter will be accredited through a nationally recognized accrediting agency and the program should lead to a college certificate, AA, AS, AAS or industry recognized certificate qualifying inmates for at least an entry-level position of employment. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611210 (Size Standard: $20.5 million) and will be solicited unrestricted. The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The contract period shall consist of a base period of the Effective Date of Award through 12 months, with four 12 month option periods for renewal. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. The solicitation will be available on or about August 18, 2014 and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the System for Award Management. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about September 9, 2014. Award is anticipated by September 20, 2014, with an effective date of October 1, 2014. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible companies may submit a quote.
