- The FLCN Contracting Department Philadelphia Office seeks to renew high speed Internet Service Provider service, Web Stats, and additional IP addresses up to Class C to support the Joint Forces Staff College (JFSC) at Norfolk, VA on a sole source basis from COX VIRGINIA TELCOM, L.L.C. Procurement will include the base period for renewal with three additional/optional 6 month terms. This acquisition is being processed IAW FAR Parts 13 and 12. Currently JFSC uses Cox Communications as the Internet Service Provider (ISP). Cox was previously awarded the contract to install optical internet and associated equipment. The base cost is approximately $30,000.00. To award to different vendor would result in a duplication of installation costs to the Government as well as an additional cost to remove the current equipment installed by Cox Communications. The license renewals being purchased shall cover the period of 15 SEP 14 “ 14 SEP 16. Those firms believing that they have a product capable of satisfying this requirement may submit a capability statement to the Government within 5 days of the date of when this synopsis is posted. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
