- Revised Purchase Description CLIN Structure has been changed as follows: CLIN 0001 Phase I - CMM Upgrade - Hardware and Software CLIN 0002 Phase I - Data IAW DD Form 1423, one (1) each COTS & SUM CLIN 1001 Phase II - CMM Upgrade Installation CLIN 1002 Phase II - CMM Upgrade Training CLIN 1003 Phase II - Travel - Installation and Training Responses due NLT 2:00 pm EST 2 Sep 2014. Purchase Description (PD) has been revised with 14M-227A-DI Rev 1 dated 28 Aug 2014. Changes to the PD are as follows: PD para 1.0 Added to end of paragraph: "This upgrade will be performed in two phases in order to minimize risk due to it being a research and development project. The first phase will include the procurement and delivery of software, hardware components, and manuals. The second phase will include the installation and training of the equipment from the first phase." PD para 4.3.1.2 Paragraph deleted as this is provided by AFMETCAL. PD para 5.9.1 changed to read " Software Maintenance and Warranty shall be provided for 1 year." PD para 5.9.2 Paragraph deleted as this is provided by AFMETCAL. PD para 8.0 Added: "The first phase will be delivered through a third party shipper." Added that the second sentence will occur during the second phase. Deleted last sentence of paragraph. PD para 10.0 Changed first sentence to: "Upon completion of installation, on-site training shall last at least 3 consecutive 8 hour working days." PD para 11.0 Added "AFMETCAL" will perform the inspection and acceptation. AFMETCAL will be using test equipment having second echelon certification.
