- SOLICITATION This solicitation is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. Sole Source Procurement The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Orbit Advanced Technologies, 506 Prudential Road, Horsham, PA 19044-2309. All other offerors may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to solicit, negotiate, and enter into a Firm Fixed Price Non-commercial Supply Contract IAW FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures for the following procurement: CLIN 0001-Remanufacture AL-4508-1MC CLIN 0002-Miscellaneous Hardware CLIN 0003-Controller AL-48061 CLIN 0004-Power Control Unit AL-4107-2-6A CLIN 0005-Cable, Limits/Brakes 910316-01 CLIN 0006-Cable, Motor A 910318-01 CLIN 0007-Cable, Motor B 910319-01 CLIN 0008-Cable, Motor C 910320-01 CLIN 0009-Cable, Control 910074-01 CLIN 0010-Cable Tach A-F CLIN 0011-Local Control Unit AL-4146-2L QUANTITY: CLIN 0001- 1 EA, CLIN 0002- 1 EA, CLIN 0003- 1 EA, CLIN 0004- 1 EA, CLIN 0005- 1 EA, CLIN 0006- 1 EA, CLIN 0007- 1 EA, CLIN 0008- 1 EA, CLIN 0009- 1 EA, CLIN 0010- 1 EA, CLIN 0011- 1 EA Delivery: Require FOB Destination to Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane, Indiana 47522, 22 weeks ARO. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. To be eligible for award of a Government contract, contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The link to the website is https://www.sam.gov. The solicitation will be available for download on 28 AUG 2014. Closing date will be on 11 SEP 2014, 4:00 P.M. EST. This notice is a synopsis and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to procure subject equipment, all changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a quote will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
