This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W911S7-14-T-0109 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-74 dated 29 May 2014. This is procurement is a total set-aside for Small Business under NAICS 337214, Office Furniture (except Wood) Manufacturing with a size standard of 500 employees. Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri requires the following items. THIS IS A REPOSTING OF THIS SOLICITATION NOTIFICATION DUE TO EXTENSION OF DUE DATE FOR QUOTATIONS. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY RESPONDED TO THIS COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION, YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESPOND AGAIN. CLIN 0001: Workstation Cubicle Redesign Description of Requirements: Performance Work Statement (PWS) 1. Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri seeks a supplier to provide workstation cubicles, installation and removal of existing furniture. Vendor(s) shall provide a to scale design drawing of their proposed cubicle layout based on the available space and the requirements within that space. The overall estimated measurement for the work area requiring redesign is 34' x 41'. Workstation Cubicles: 7 workstation cubicles, conference area with table and copier/fax/shredder area. Type of cubicles: Cubicles with doors to ensure sound reduction in each work space. Wall height is estimated at 7' however final wall height shall ensure air flow throughout the space. Cubicle wall shall have a clear panel at the top for light transmission. Each workstation cubicle should have a minimum of the following items; * Desktop work surface on at least 3 walls (could reduce to 2 walls if additional storage is incorporated in design). Desktop minimum height 29 quote mark, but prefer adjustable option. Desktop work surface minimum width 24-25 quote mark with option for one wall to support 30 quote mark work surface width. * 1 each; drop-down keyboard/mouse tray-drawer (want to see two location options; corner or other wall area) * 2 each; overhead storage cabinets with under mount lighting. Need at least 21 inches between the desktop surface and the bottom of overhead storage cabinet to support large monitors. If design will support 3-4 overhead cabinets, will consider this quantity. Option for tack board or material to post messages or paperwork between overhead storage and desktop surface. * 2 each; 3 drawer file cabinets under desktop (one drawer letter size). Photo examples of storage products provided for vendor to incorporate in design layout options. * 1-2 each; 2 drawer lateral file cabinet under desktop OR (depending on design or space-4 drawer lateral/2 each, 4-5 drawer vertical file cabinet) * All file/storage cabinets must have lock/key. * Each cubicle workstation wall should have 2-4 electrical power outlets. * Each cubicle workstation should be wired to support 2-3 network jacks and one phone jack. Notify LRC if this option cannot be incorporated in design. * Minimum cubicle wall height is 7'. * Each cubicle workstation should have a door (with lock/key). * No color preference, but the small space would probably look best with neutral/light colors (Gray, Beige or Light Blue). * Cubicle wall material should be a quality product for noise reduction. * Want to see option for cubicle walls to have clear panels on top of each wall to support good light flow. * Design must incorporate a 3' hallway to the existing outer offices and EXIT door. Reception Workstation: Reception area should have countertop wall/shelf (min height 4') on two sides or reception wall can be diagonal. Same storage requirements and wiring as the cubicle workstations. No door required. * 1 each; drop-down keyboard/mouse tray-drawer * 2 each; overhead storage cabinets with under mount lighting. Need at least 21 inches between the desktop surface and the bottom of overhead storage cabinet to support large monitors. If design will support 3-4 overhead cabinets, will consider this quantity. * 2 each; 3 drawer file cabinets under desktop (one drawer letter size) * 2 each; 2 drawer lateral file cabinet under desktop OR (depending on design or space-4 drawer lateral/4 drawer vertical file cabinet) * All file/storage cabinets must have lock/key. * Each cubicle workstation wall should have 2-4 power outlets and if possible be wired for 2-3 network jacks and one phone jack. * All surfaces a neutral color. * Reception area design should allow guest seating for minimum of 2 chairs. Printer/Copier, Fax and Shredder Work Space: Printer/Copier, Fax Machine and Shredder equipment area will require a designated space close to existing conference room. Depending on design and area reserved for these items, will require 4 power outlets and 2 phone jacks. Estimated area required is approximately 11' x 5'. * 1 each; 2 drawer lateral file cabinet under small desktop/shelf work area (or system type storage cabinet). Fax machine will sit on this desktop/shelf, but supply storage in this area is required. Conference Table Area: Design conference table area between cubicle rows estimated at 10' x 14'. * Need one Conference table. Quality product material options (wood or desktop surface product). Conference table size based on available space to support aisle clearance between seating and cubicle walls. * Need conference area chairs (8-10). Minimum seating capacity required is 8-10 people comfortably. Chair options based on available space. * One cubicle wall next to conference table shall be wired for network plug with mount for a 40-50 quote mark monitor for computer presentations. 2. Any resulting contract shall be a single award firm fixed price contract. 3. All items shall be FOB destination. 4. There will be a site visit conducted on 21 Aug 2014 from 0900-1100. (d) Comptroller General Examination of Record.
