- Request for Information for Hiring Operations The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is issuing this combined Sources Sought - Request For Information (RFI) to increase industry's understanding of and solicit industry's capabilities, ideas and recommendations on TSA's requirement for Human Capital Hiring Operations. TSA seeks to improve its understanding of market capabilities, identify qualified organizations capable of providing these services and find innovative solutions and ideas on how to efficiently and e ffectively fulfill this requirement. This RFI is for market research purposes only in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP). It is not considered to be a commitment by the Government. Participation in responding to this effort is strictly voluntary; however all organizations capable of fulfilling this requirement may respond. TSA encourages all capable small and mid-size organizations to respond. The Government will not award a contract on the basis of this notice, or otherwise pay for information solicited by it. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this RFI or Government use of any information provided. Any information provided will become the property of TSA and will not be returned or publicly released. Any information the organization considers to be proprietary should be clearly marked as such and will be handled accordingly. At this time no solicitation exists. Therefore, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. The Government reserves the right to consider any arrangement as deemed appropriate for this procurement, including the ultimate acquisition approach and contract structure. Responses to this RFI shall be submitted to the TSA via electronic mail, not to exceed 8MB, to the Contract Specialist, Greg Fields at gregory.fields@tsa.dhs.gov no later than 1PM local Washington, DC time (EST) on Friday, September 26, 2014. Responses not received by the closing date and time may not be considered or evaluated by the TSA. Please see the attached PDF for the RFI Information.
