- SS Mission and Installation Contracting Command-Fort Meade, MD intends to award a firm fixed price sole source purchase order to Dell Marketing, L.P., One Dell Way, Round Rock, TX large business, for the following: power edge 2900 etc. Dell holds proprietary maintenance for parts and technical support for dell equipment. The Government intends to enter into a firm fixed price requirement with Dell Marketing, L.P. This acquisition is conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) soliciting from a single source. The Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available due to proprietary ownership of requested service and no other sources will be able to accurately satisfy agency requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification System for this requirement is 334111-Electronic Computer Manufacturing with a standard size no of employees 1000. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITION QUOTES AND no solicitation will be issued.
