- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and is being issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set aside for small businesses, the NAICS Code 423420, and business size standards of 100. Only those qualified offerors may submit quotes. Line Item 0001 2ea High Security Paper Shredder Each shredder should include: Shred size: 0.8mm x 5.0mm Throat Width: 10-1/4" Capacity: up to 13 sheets Speed: 28 feet per minute Motor: 1.75 HP Actual 3.5 HP Peak Power: 115HV/60HZ, Shipping weight 125lbs Dimensions: 36-1.2"H x22-1.2"W x18-1/2"D Automatic oiler 2 gallons of oil per shredder 50 bags per shredder Extended Warranty for Two years First year Preventative Maintenance Contract NOTE: All shredders must be NSA approved and on the Evaluated Products List (EPL). DLA Energy will not accept refurbished equipment, only new items. This is a one-time buy. Price is ALL INCLUSIVE and are to include shipping and handling. The required shipping terms are FOB Destination, with inside delivery, assembly, and removal of all debris. It is requested that all shredders be delivered immediately after receipt of order with 24-hour notice given to the customer before delivery.
