- Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE to solicit a service contract to provide woody growth removal/disposal of resulting debris and herbicide application to resulting stumps on specified dam/dike embankments at Belton Lake, Stillhouse Hollow Lake (Bell County), Somerville Lake (Burleson & Washington Counties), Granger Lake (Williamson County), Lake Georgetown (Williamson County) and Canyon Lake (Comal County), Texas. This will be a Competitive Small Business Solicitation for a service contract to provide woody vegetation removal, disposal of debris and the herbicide application to the resulting stumps. Value Range: $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, tools, parts, transportation, permits (if required) and equipment necessary for the following services to include: a) Removal of woody vegetation in specified areas, b) disposal of resulting debris and c) treatment of resulting stumps with herbicide to prevent sprouting. This is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. The NAICS Code is 561730. FSC Code is S208. Once the solicitation is released, to be eligible to receive a Government contract award, a firm must be registered in the Official U.S. Government system, System for Award Management (SAM).
