Description

Under Statutory Authority identified in 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) - The VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source delivery order with American Medical Depot to provide and deliver Stryker Zoom Motorized Stretchers to the Clement J. Zablocki VAMC Milwaukee, WI. This announcement is for products the VA intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source IAW FAR Part 6.302-1. The corresponding Delivery order will be firm fixed price and F.O.B. Destination. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available; however, any firm that believes it can meet and exceed the requirements above may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 2:00 PM (EST) Sept. 4th, 2014. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, GLAC, 115 S. 84th St., Suite 101, Milwaukee WI 53214-1476 or via fax to (414) 844-4878 or via email to benjamin.woodford@va.gov. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses received will be evaluated; however apart from the responses received from this notice, a determination by the VA not to compete the proposed procurement is solely within the VA's discretion. If no responses are received, the GLAC will then proceed with the sole source negotiation with American Medical Depot.
