- N00164-14-G-GR07 JOB ORDER 0005 - SOLE SOURCE - RHENIUM WIRE LIFE TEST - FSC 5960 - NAICS 334419 Anticipated Issue Date - 11 SEP 2014 - Anticipated Closing Date - 09 OCT 2014 - 14:00 PM EDT This solicitation is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER N00164-14-G-GR07. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane Division intends to issue Job Order 0005 under NSWC Crane Division Basic Ordering Agreement N00164-14-G-GR07 awarded to Communications & Power Industries, LLC, 811 Hansen Way, Palo Alto, CA 94304-1031. The anticipated award for Firm Fixed Price job order for life expectancy and performance studies of Rhenium Wire to be used in support of the sustainment of the Aegis Microwave Tube (MWT) program. This order will include: CLIN 0001 - Rhenium Wire Life Testing CLIN 0002 - Technical Data and Reports This Order will be placed in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The period of performance will be 365 days from the effective date of contract. A formal Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be posted to the FBO page. A copy of the RFP will be made available to qualified interested parties upon request. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Responsible offerors shall submit offers to the NSWC Crane Division point of contact (POC) to be received no later than the time, date, and location specified in the RFP. The Contractor must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database located at www.sam.gov. The technical data package may contain information that is export controlled. Only those companies that have completed DD Form 2345 and are certified under the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in an active status are authorized to receive export controlled information.
