- Amendment 05 1. Project No. and Title: EVKP 14-4269, Repair/Upgrade Kitchen, GOH 4200, Plaza Housing, Okinawa, Japan 2. The project will be performed in the country of Japan. 3. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. 4. Funds are NOT presently available to fund this project. If current fiscal year (FY14) funds become available, purchase order award will be made no later than 30 Sep 14. Accordingly, quotations shall be valid until 30 Sep 14. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation before or after the closing date when cancellation is clearly in the Government's best interest. 5. Line Item No. 4, Kitchen Appliances, is bid optional line item; therefore, Government reserve the right to award a purchase order either all line item Nos. or without line item No. 0004. 6. CONTRACTOR LICENSING REQUIREMENTS: Any contract resulting from this solicitation will be awarded and performed in its entirety in the country of Japan. Contractors must be duly authorized to operate and conduct business in Japan, and must fully comply with all laws, decrees, labor standards, and regulations of Japan during the performance of the contract. Prior to award of any contract, offerors must be registered to do business in Japan and possess a construction license (Kensetsu-Gyo Kyoka) issued by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, or prefectural government. 7. In order to allow timely responses, offerors shall submit Request for Information (RFI) no later than 03 Sep 2014 at 1630 hours, Japan Standard Time. **Solicitaion Amendment No. 0002 through No. 0004 were accidentally missed due to system errors. Requirement chagens are stated on Amendment No. 0005.
