SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS/QUOTATIONS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT to procure the following service/material: The contractor shall deliver SL-3 parts for Base-X tents in support of III MEF Headquarters Group, Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. The United States Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to HDT Expeditionary Systems Inc., 3200 Greenforest Avenue, Buena Vista, VA, 24416-3907, United States with FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). HDT Expeditionary Systems, Inc. is the sole source to provide the service/material needed because they are the proprietary source that can provide this service/material. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 314910. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this electronic notice must be made by 03:00 p.m. Japan Standard Time (JST) on 05 September, 2014.
