Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, Michigan 48201 is seeking an entity to provide monthly cleaning and maintenance for two (2) aquariums. The Contractor shall meet all certifications, licenses and /or permit requirements of all Federal, State or City codes regarding operations of this type of service. Performance shall be in accordance with the requirements contained in the solicitation Statement of Work (SOW). The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 812910, with a small business size standard of $7.5 million applies. This will be a 100% set aside for small business. All potential bidders MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov/sam. Potential bidders should register at https://www.fedbizopps.gov in order to receive notification of and/or changes to the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued electronically and will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities website https://www.fedbizopps.gov. The contractor shall be regularly established in providing cleaning and maintenance for fish aquariums for a minimum of at least three (3) years. The contract is for a Base Year plus four (4) one (1) year pre-priced option period(s). Bid packages will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about September 3, 2014. No phone, fax or email inquiries will be taken for this Pre-Solicitation Notice.
