- Description
- Equipment Requirements Sample Bailment Agreement This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought synopsis shall be voluntary. This Sources Sought Notice is for Market Research purposes only. Hurlburt Field, FL is conducting market research to determine the existence of potential sources to provide a video converter as detailed below for testing purposes. The AF is looking into displaying their onboard HD sensor ball's video onto the aircraft's existing Multi-functional displays. This requires the sensor HD-SDI video format to be converted to DVI-D format that the MFD will accept. The Government is interested in validating whether the HD sensor's video can be converted and displayed properly without any degradation to the MFDs or Sensor video. Additional details on the video converter are attached. At this time, the Government is not sure whether they intend to purchase any of these "boxes". The Government is currently interested in exploring technical solutions for an operational requirement that may or may not ultimately be addressed, depending on the results of testing. All interested firms shall submit a capabilities package that explicity demonstrates company capabilities and product information. Request firms also address the following: 1) Bailment Agreement/No Cost Loan Agreement. A sample bailment agreement is attached. Please indicate whether or not your company would be willing to provide the requested equipment (quantity of 1) for testing purposes. If so, indicate whether you are willing to do so at no cost or if there would be a cost associated with providing the requested equipment for testing. 2) If available, please provide an estimated purchase price of the requested eqiupment (quantity of 1). 3) Availability of requested equipment. The Government is interested in testing equipment the week of 29 September. If willing to provide for testing, is the equipment available immediately. 4) Indicate the country in which the product is/will be manufactured in. 5) The Government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, or SDVOSB, WOSB, EDWOSB, or small business).
