- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number RFQ-401-5430-040-00547 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through federal Acquisition Circular 05-35. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 334516. USDA-ARS-CGAHR has a requirement for one low volume liquid handling system with the following specifications: 1) low cost, handle 1ul liquid transfer with <3% CV, 2) Dead volumn <16ul, 3) Reliable and flexible PCR set up, can dispense up to 1536 well plates, 4) programmable for different applications. Delivery will be to 1515 College Ave., Manhattan, KS 66502. Delivery will be FOB Destination to Manhattan, Kansas. Shipping charges are to be included in the total cost. The provision 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Contractors are to be actively registered in the System for Award Management ( http://www.sam.gov/ ). FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms & Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Payment will be made by EFT upon receipt, inspection, completion of installation and receipt of an itemized invoice. FAR 52.212-5 - Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statues or Executive Orers - Commercial Items as well as the following FAR clauses are applicable to this acquisition: FAR 52.219-6; 52.219-28; 52.222-3; 52.222-19; 52.222-21; 52.222-26; 52.222-36; 52-222-50; 52.225-3; 52.232-34. The contractor shall extend to the Government all applicable warranties at no additional cost. The contractor shall provide a copy of its standard commercial warranty (if applicable) with its response.
