- Technical Evaluation Criteria Statement of Work THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services intends to award using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, a fixed price order for purchase to print2-5 CMS Publications in Braille in accordance with the attached Statement of Work for one base year and 4 option years. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 323119. Responses must be sent electronically in MS Word format to renee.wallacabney@cms.hhs.gov on or before Monday, September 15, 2014 by 12:00 PM EST. All Bidders will need to provide CMS with a translated sample of the Medicare Summary Notice (MSN) (that was attached to the package. 'Bidders should inform CMS of the formats in which they can accept documents/data (e.g. hard copies, PDF file, secure FTP site, etc.) 'Samples may be sent to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Attn. Renee Wallace-Abney, 7500 Security Boulevard, B3-30-20. Baltimore, Maryland 21244.' The Government intends to award an order to the responsible offeror whose quotation offers the best combination of technical capabilities and proposed price; the Lowest Price that is Technically Acceptable. All responses/quotes submitted shall remain valid for a period of 180 days. Interested parties much are able to affirm no conflicts of interest with parties involved in Medicare claims processing in light of the work identified in the statement of work. In the event a vendor /government identify a conflict, the vendor shall be responsible for providing a mitigation strategy that satisfies the government. In the event that the conflict cannot be resolved the order cannot be awarded or an existing order may need to be terminated.
