Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes are being requested via this synopsis and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requisition Number W81EWF42188036 is being issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) with intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-50. The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Vicksburg, MS, Environmental Laboratory has a requirement for the following: One (1) Inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer (ICP-AES) system. System must include: (a) argon plasma with the capable of operating over a range of gas flow rates, e.g. 8 to 15L/min. created by a solid state generator; (b) UV and VISIBLE spectral range of at least 160-900 nm and a minimum UV resolution of 0.007 nm; (c) ability to vieiw the palsma axially and radially; (d) must use solid state SCD detectors rather than CIDs or PMTs; (e) full spectra data collection for subsequent elemental analysis; (f) support a variety of interference correction capabilities, including inter-element correction (e.g.IEC), and multicomponent spectral fitting (e.g. MSF); (g) must have inert gas purged optics rather than vacuum or air-filled optics.
