Small Business Set-Aside: This acquisition is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Replace Two Water Pumps at the Fort Baker Reservoir and Install Pressure Regulators, at Fort Baker in Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Sausalito, CA. The work includes the replacement of two pumps, and related piping and appurtances with new pumps, piping, pressure transducer, telemetry system modifications and other appurtances at the water pump station and reservoir site within Fort Baker. The work includes an option for demolition and modification of the water reservoir interior piping. The project will be constructed under a single prime contract. The work shall be conducted in three (3) phases in the following order, with each phase substantially complete before beginning the next phase: Phase 1 Demolition and replacement of Pump #1 and related piping and appurtances. Demolition and replace wet well bypass and related piping if work is awarded. Work of this phase shall be substantially complete within fifteen (15) days after commencement of construction of this phase. Phase 2 Demolition and replacement of Pump #2 and related piping and appurtances. Work of this phase shall be substantially complete within fifteen (15) days after commencement of construction of this phase. Phase 3 The remaining work shall be substantially complete and ready for occupancy at time of substantial completion. The Government anticipates awarding one firm-fixed-price contract as a result of this solicitation. The anticipated award date is on or about October 15, 2014. The estimated period of performance is November 1, 2014 through November 1, 2015. The NAICS code for this project is 237110 and the small business size standard is $36.5M. This procurement is subject to, among others, the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15, contracting by Negotiation. Proposals will be due October 2, 2014 by 3:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time. Search by referencing the solicitation number (P14PS01899), Department of the Interior, National Park Service.
