- This is a SSC Pacific combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Competitive quotes for brand name or equal are being requested under N66001-14-T-7164. This requirement is set-aside for small businesses, NAICS code is 333314 and business size standard is 500 employees. Item 0001: VPE 100 HYDROFLUORIC VAPOR PHASE ETCHER / QTY -1 = $______________ HF Vapor Etching system. able to etch 4" wafers with the proper attachment, must be able to etch small piece samples (~6mm x ~10mm) must be able to operate on a bench-top or in a fume hood must be a manually operated must not require a computer or software to operate must have a SiO2 etch rate in the order of 4 to 10 microns per hour must require no installation must include a reaction chamber must include a heating element must include a power supply Line item 0002: ELECTROSTATIC CHUCK / QTY 1 = $________________ Chuck for small samples Must be an attachment to item #1 that allows the system to be able to etch small piece samples (~6mm x ~10mm).
